Task 12: Analysing Monthly Library Book Loans


You have been asked to analyse the number of books borrowed from a library across different genres over a month.

Instructions

Download the file Monthly_Library_Loans_Student_Template and copy and paste the data into a spreadsheet application.

Modify the table to add a new genre, Graphic Novels, below Non-Fiction with the following loan figures:

Jan: 45

Feb: 521

Mar: 48

Apr: 554

May: 456

Sort the data into alphabetical order based on Genre

Complete the “Total Loans” column for all genres using a formula.
Add any title of choice at the top of the table.

Calculations:

In the cell below Reference, write Average Loans for Fiction and calculate the average monthly loans for Fiction in the adjacent cell.

In the cell below Average Loans for Fiction, write Sum of Loans in February and calculate it in the adjacent cell.


Formatting:

Ensure all text is visible

Make all column and row headings bold

Shade the top row

Add page number on the footer
Charts:

Create a bar chart showing Genres vs January loans. Add a suitable heading, axis title, and labels to your chart for clarity.
Name your wooksheet as Monthly Library Book.

Name your wookbook Loan and upload it below.
